Barbados Race WEEk 2019

16-22 January 2019

The 2019 Mount Gay Round Barbados Race is now the 'Race Series' and promises again to be a great event with a unique mixture of ocean sailing, racing and an unbeatable Bajan welcome.

Ondeck will be entering its Farr 65 Spirit of Juno again for individual or small groups bookings and will have Spirit of Venus available for whole boat charters.

Spirit of Juno is our 'head boat' meaning that individuals or small groups can join the team for an event. we normally have around 4 pro crew on board so can take a mix of experienced racers as well as a few novices.

She is a physical yacht with no powered winches so there are plenty of jobs even for a big crew and you will not be 'rail meat' as we try and involve our guests in many of the roles on board.

She is competitive with a first in class in the Antigua and Barbados regattas in 2018 and attracts a strong and loyal following with many strong friendships built.

We also have two Beneteau First 40.7s available for skippered and whole boat charter

Optional extras include the 300 nm delivery to Barbados on the 14th January which will take about 30 hours and is $150 USD

We may be doing the Barbados to Antigua race or we may sail to Grenada for the Regatta there. Either will be an excellent opportunity for  building miles and are also $150 pp. A final decision will be made on this closer to the time

Oh … and then there are the famous parties sponsored by Mount Gay themselves

As with ALL Ondeck's events no experience is necessary
